(SVR Spring 2011 Work Days)

We love making wedding films and if you’ve been on our website/blog for more than a few minutes then you will see passion in our work.  On the other hand, we are a couple that had meaning and purpose far before we made our first film.   For us the primary fuel for what we do is our faith and that is what makes us who we are and drives us towards the future.

About two years ago some friends of ours invited us to become part of a vision they had to minister to kids in our local foster care system. Their vision was to start a ranch that used a camp setting with adventure activities to share the love of Jesus. To be honest, it was a tough decision to make with all of our business commitments but Kelsey and I felt confirmation that this was something that God was leading us towards so we officially joined the Board of Directors of Son Valley Ranch.

Over the past two years, this vision has materialized into a beautiful 300-acre ranch with a horse arena and bunkhouse near beautiful Bradyville, TN. It has been a privilege to see so many people volunteer to help out on workdays and donate supplies and money towards this incredible vision that we have been able to see come to life.  We plan on hosting our first group of campers late this summer and are excited each new step!
